"A Prophet for Our Time"
by Rabbi Marc H. Tanenbaum
Rabbi Marc H. Tanenbaum was widely hailed as “the Human Rights Rabbi” and a pioneer in the field of interreligious reconciliation. Rabbi Tanenbaum was cited by a poll of religion editors as one of the ten most highly respected and influential religious leaders in the U.S. When he died in 1992, Howard Milstein provided the funding to preserve his legacy in an anthology of the Rabbi’s key writings, which was published by Fordham University Press.
