On June 15th, Howard Milstein was confirmed by the New York State Senate as Chair of the New York State Thruway Authority, a position that he has accepted on a pro bono basis. As Chair, his responsibilities include overseeing the state’s 570-mile Thruway system and 525-mile canal system, including the Erie Canal.
