Howard and Abby Milstein have a long history of support for the humanities and the field of music. A prominent program the Milsteins have supported for many years is with the Royal College of Music. The William Smith International Performance Scholarship and the Milstein Medal is awarded to up-and-coming, talented pianists from around the world.
On May 24, 2024, the Milstein Medal was presented to Anastasia Barabanova by Dr. Georgette Bennett, on behalf of Howard and Abby Milstein.
