The Geroscience Symposium was the inaugural one of the series of seven international meetings which discuss the multiple levels of aging mechanisms as well as their impact on intervention in senior health and age-related diseases. It brought together Chinese and international researchers and opinion leaders from academia, industry, government agencies, private foundations and public advocacy groups working on topics related to aging. Mr. Milstein partnered with National Institute on Aging’s Nathan Shock Centers and American Federation for Aging Research (AFAR). He co-sponsored the symposium through Milstein Medical Asian American Partnership (MMAAP) Foundation as part of his philanthropic effort towards China. MMAAP Foundation’s mission is to improve world health by facilitating a bilateral relationship between the United States and China, as well as greater Asia.

In this video, Mr. Milstein discusses MMAAP Foundation’s effort and achievements in advancing Chinese healthcare and medical research, especially in senior health, and his intention of bringing solutions to aging-related issues and innovative approaches for quality senior healthcare development.
